Polyamory, or poly for short, is the practice of consensual non-monogamy, a lovestyle allowing for a person to have more than one romantic relationship with the knowledge and consent of everyone involved.
This can take many different forms, and I’m in no position to represent the entire poly-community, but I can share my experience of being poly.
It works basically the same way as all relationships (romantic or otherwise). If people feel that their needs are not met, that they are not sufficiently appreciated or that they are being kept in the dark or lied to, they might become sad, angry or hurt. If that happens, you find a way to talk about it and try and work out a way for everyone to be happy.
It’s both harder and easier than monolife. Instead of using the predefined boyfriend/girlfriend-arrangement you have to spend time negotiating and planing your relationships more or less from scratch. That means more work, but also that you and your partners will end up with relationships custom made to fit you.

Yes I am, and thank you so much for asking! Last fall, my life got incredibly stressful for a couple off months and I ended up giving up almost all of my Internet activity to find time for school, work, my sweeties and my biological family. When things calmed down, I had simply lost the habit of tumblring, so this was a good reminder to get back in the game:) You will probably see more posts from me soon again.
Preparing
I’m packing my bag to go spend four whole days with Onyx, as his toy. He has told me to bring my spreader, some vibrators and butt plugs and some of my pvc-clothes.
I don’t really know what he’s got planned, but I’m incredibly exited!
